This potato ricer appears to be identical (or with hardly any difference) to other mashers listed here for about twice or more the price. (It was £8.59 when I purchased it).It is well made – robust and no sharp edges.I had never had a potato ricer before – all I can say is that I should have got one years ago! You get really smooth mash with no lumps.This model splits apart into two pieces – the section with the perforations that the mash is pushed through and the section that pushes the potatoes through. This makes for more compact storage and easier placement in the dishwasher.
