Been using this for 'mashed' potatoes. Feels very solid and hopefully will take the hammering it's getting for a long time...it needs to for the price. Easy to take apart for cleaning. Just wish it was twice the size (but that's just me being lazy; and making loads of mash).Great strong product. Easy to use. Makes lovely fluffy mashed potatoes. Very easy to clean. Ricer is ideal for large quantities of potatoes. Well made ricer.The only thing that I would fault is the pin that holds the two pieces together; slides out too easily.
